So how do people get involved in Christian radio production for mainstream radio stations? Well, the answer is it's not easy! There are so few opportunities in the UK for radio beginners to find a place to broadcast their first productions. That's why we started the Whistling Frog Radio Group (WFRG).

This is a group of local people from churches around West Yorkshire who gather together in our Bradford studios every Tuesday evening to make fun radio! They brainstorm ideas, write scripts, record voices, mix in music and come up with some amazing radio inserts, all with the Whistling Frog ethos - creative, quality, entertaining and challenging. Many of the group's creations end up as Thoughts in Shorts on The Full Breakfast or as the latest additions to Audiopot.

Several of the group's items have been nominated for awards in recent years.
