Media Hub

What do we do?

We offer a free service to both the media and the church in Bradford to aid communication. We help the media get to know what the church is really doing and put them in touch with people who are newsworthy and worth interviewing.  We help the churches recognise when they have a story and help them to share it. We work with newspapers, BBC and commercial local radio, Look North and Calendar and use the internet. We search for opportunities for the church, and it helps the staff-stretched media along the way.

Why are we doing it?

The church makes a great difference to Bradford with outstanding work with young people and children. It tackles poverty and addiction, parenting, homelessness, asylum...the list goes on.

The media is Christianity's shop window and if all it says is "table-top sale" it doesn't do justice to our powerful life-changing God!

Instead the hub is committed to putting Christian expertise into the limelight, showing the true picture of who a Christian can be.

Jesus said: “You are the light of the world...let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” We are hoping to help the church to do that.
