HVQ
Hospital Vozandes Quito (HVQ) is a missionary urban general hospital strategically located on the north side of Ecuador’s capital city. The hospital serves as a trauma centre and has residencies in family practice and ophthalmology. The original hospital opened in 1955, and since then has grown to a 76-bed facility, with modern equipment, highly skilled doctors and nurses from around the world, and an HIV/AIDS clinic. It has gained the respect and reputation as the leading trauma centre in Quito. These vital services - plus the Charity Fund that ensures urgent medical care for those who cannot pay for it - make HVQ a model of God's love.

Pastoral Service
As a Christian Mission hospital we use the Word of God and medicine to proclaim the Good News of Jesus. We have staff chaplains and missionary personnel who minister God's grace to our patients, as well as providing counselling services. Another pastoral goal is to disciple our employees, enabling them to participate in the Great Commission of sharing the Gospel. The HVQ pastoral staff consists of full and part time employees, missionaries, and volunteers working together as a valuable resource for the Kingdom of God.
